If you're looking for the Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (MOFAS) you have come to the right place. We have some exciting news about our organization. We have a new name! MOFAS has officially been renamed Proof Alliance. Our mission remains the same: to prevent prenatal alcohol exposure and to improve the quality of life for people living with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD).

Why PR%F

We now have the proof that prenatal alcohol exposure is a leading cause of brain injury in children. We have the proof that FASD is 100% preventable and people living with an FASD can reach 100% of their potential.

Why Alliance?

We seek to build powerful alliances with people with an FASD, their families, legislators, experts in the field, new partners, and community members to bring awareness, research, and services to this field.

What's Next?

Proof Alliance is rebranding, expanding, and we're moving! We have a new logo, website, and prevention campaign to help change the norms around drinking during pregnancy. And in May 2019 we will be moving to a stand-alone building. Proof Alliance commits to the people of Minnesota and we will continue to develop transformative programs to help Minnesotans impacted by FASD.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Proof Alliance! Here are some sweet mocktail recipes to help you celebrate.

Shirley Temple

Shirley Temple

Serves: 1


  • 1 oz. grenadine syrup
  • 4 oz. ginger ale*
  • 4 oz. lemon-lime soda*
  • Maraschino cherry, for garnish

*You can make a lower sugar option by choosing sugar-free “diet” versions of these pops.


  1. Fill a glass with ice and add the grenadine.
  2. Add ginger ale and lemon-lime soda.
  3. Stir, and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Valentine's Day Punch

Valentine’s Day Punch

Serves: 12-16


  • 2 liters of lemon-lime soda
  • 1 bottle of red juice (cranberry, cran-raspberry, etc.)
  • 1 bottle of orange juice


  1. Pour all three bottles into a large pitcher or punch bowl, and stir well.
  2. Ladle into glasses and serve.

Fizzy Sorbet Mocktail

Fizzy Sorbet Mocktail

Serves: 1+


  • Lemon sorbet
  • Raspberry sorbet
  • Mango sorbet
  • Small ice cream scoop
  • Lemon-lime soda or seltzer water


  1. Fill a glass ¾ of the way with lemon-lime soda or seltzer water.
  2. Add mini scoops of each sorbet to the glass.
