Get to Know Crystal
Crystal (she/they) is a 17-year-old high school junior, attending a specialized program in Richfield, Minnesota where participants’ mental health is a focus. Crystal enjoys it and has built relationships with their peers.
Crystal loves math and is currently studying algebra. They love learning and they are proud of their ability to learn. Crystal says, “I am always focused on growing and that’s always my top priority.”

Spreading Awareness through Art
Crystal is also passionate about art. Crystal showcases and sells handmade bracelets at Proof Alliance’s Second Saturdays, a monthly youth support group. The idea for Crystal’s jewelry business was sparked when a peer asked Crystal if they could purchase one of the handmade bracelets Crystal was wearing.
Crystal says, “I want to inspire people with love and peace because there’s a lot of hate in the world.” Drawing inspiration from her life experiences and the challenges she’s overcome, Crystal’s artwork is a reflection of her journey.
