Virgin Gin & Juice: (english below)

🇩🇪Rezept:
50ml alkoholfreier Gin („echter“ geht aber auch)
100ml Traubensaft
10ml Zitronensaft
Top mit 20ml Soda

Garnitur: beliebig

Methode: Shake and Strain
Glas: Longdrinkglas

🇺🇸Recipe: Virgin Gin & Juice
This way of drinking gin has probably been around since the early days of gin distillation, as the drink is almost easier to make than a gin and tonic😂. However, this combination of juice and gin became really famous when Snoop Dogg released his album "Doggystyle" with a song called "Gin and Juice" in 1993.🎶🎤.

🇺🇸Recipe:
1 3/4oz non-alcoholic gin
3oz grape juice
1/4oz lemon juice
Top with 3/4oz soda

Garnish: any

Method: Shake and Strain
Glass: Longdrink glass

Shake all ingredients except soda with ice in a shaker. Then strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes and top with soda. With the decoration you can give free rein to your creativity, it should be nice and colorful👩🎨🎨.

The cocktail tastes like a jazzed-up juice spritzer. Pleasantly fruity and very slightly tangy. You can even taste a note slightly reminiscent of gin.

As always, cheers my friends.
What is if there was a non-alcoholic gin and tonic that tastes like Japan and Australia? How awesome does that sound? If you can’t find it, make it yourself. Come try it!

pomwonderful is having a mocktail contest and donating $100 for every entry posted to diversifydietetics - a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the racial and ethnic diversity in the field of nutrition. I’m traveling right now, so I’m reposting one of my favorite original zero proof creations that features POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice.

I call this the Jewel Box because the garnish of bright pomegranate seeds glistens like rubies (but is much tastier). The puckery POM pomegranate juice and lime combine with fiery ginger and the botanicals of optimistdrinks Bright nonalcoholic spirit. The aroma from the rosemary sprig works perfectly with the other flavors. It’s there for more than show, so don’t skip it for the full effect.

Note: If you don’t have Optimist Bright on hand this will work well with your favorite nonalcoholic gin alternative like ritualzeroproof Gin Alternative. wilderton_free Earthen or amass.botanics Riverine would also work really well in this. Experiment and see which is your fave!

♦️♦️Jewel Box ♦️♦️

* 1.5 oz Optimist Botanicals Bright optimistdrinks
* 1 oz pomegranate juice pomwonderful
* .75 oz ginger syrup liberandco
* .5 oz lime juice
* 2-3 oz sparkling water
* Garnish - rosemary sprig & pomegranate seeds

Combine the first four ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake & strain into a highball glass filled with cracked ice. Top with sparkling water or club soda. I love Topo Chico topochicousa sparkling mineral water, but whatever you have will work just fine. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and top with a teaspoon of pomegranate seeds.

I love liberandco ‘s ginger syrup, but you can easily make your own with some fresh ginger root and sugar. Just combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and a half cup of peeled & chopped ginger in a saucepan. Bring to a boil while stirring. Then take it off the heat and let it sit for about a half an hour. Strain into a clean bottle and refrigerate. It will keep about two weeks. #POMMocktailContest
Congratulations chrissyteigen celebrating 6 months of sobriety 👏 👏

I've been chatting to sober bro Stu (aka soberandfuckingenlightened
for a few weeks now and he's bloody hilarious in an inspiring and crude sort of way - so we immediately hit it off!

His story if alcohol addiction goes back to childhood. Now he's one half of a sober power couple with sober_circle - kinda like the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie of British sobriety (before they divorced). They even have a sober baby on the way! This is his story.
---

I struggled with alcohol addiction from around the age of 12. By the time I reached 18 I was living on the streets searching the floor for coppers to buy a £1.37 litre of white cider and reduce the shakes.

After 20 years - after losing my marriage, my home, my family, my friends, my health and my sanity - I finally found my way back.

For almost two years now, I've dedicated myself to therapy and self betterment. I now tell my story on the soberandfuckingenlightened page so that I might help inspire AND learn from other people who understand!

The hard work seems to have paid off as two years ago I was sat alone in a small room with a bed and a sink contemplating ways of ending my life.

Today I have an amazing relationship with myself AND the love of my life. I have my first child on the way, I have a nice home, I have a nice job and have met lots of lovely human beings.

If you’re sitting there reading this and thinking “I can't do this”, I PROMISE you, you can.
