Over three days, the 8th Annual FASD Conference: Opening Doors to a Brighter Future will offer the opportunity to learn the latest research, promising strategies, and innovative programs related to FASD support and prevention while networking with over 250 providers, families, experts and other stakeholders related to FASD.  We are proud to say that this year’s conference will be providing topics on both FASD prevention and support to help us stay true to our mission. Our mission is to eliminate disability caused by alcohol consumption during pregnancy and to improve the quality of life for people living with FASD.

Register online for $150 per person. Registration will be accepted through Monday, October 30, 2019.  Registration includes admission to all sessions, program materials, refreshment breaks, continental breakfast and lunch, and a certificate of attendance. On-site registration will be allowed as space allows. If you choose to register other than online, we can provide a form.

Cancellation Policy

Paid registrants that cancel their registration prior to October 15, 2019, will receive a full refund. No refunds will be processed after October 15, 2019.


There are a limited number of partial scholarships to attend the 8th Annual FASD Conference.

Scholarships are exclusively for people in Minnesota with an FASD and their family members with financial barriers to attending the conference on November 7-8, 2019. A limited number of tickets are available for the pre-conference institute. Scholarships are not available for professional development. Scholarship decisions will be prioritized on financial need and first-time attendees. Not all applicants will receive a scholarship.
The priority deadline to submit applications is 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2019. Applications submitted after the due date may not be considered. Scholarship decisions will be communicated by Friday, October 4, 2019, via phone and email. Confirmation of attendance is required by Friday, October 11, 2019, or the scholarship may be reassigned.

Awarded scholarship recipients must submit their contribution to via credit card, check, or cash no later than Monday, October 21, 2019, to ensure participation. Click here to apply for an FASD Conference Scholarship.

Program & Handouts

Registered attendees will receive an email sent out on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, that contains the password to access the conference breakout session handouts. Handouts are posted in the order we receive them from presenters and have received permission to share with conference attendees. You may access the breakout session handouts here and enter the password when you get to the page. Handouts will be available through December 31, 2019.

Nursing Room

There will be access to a nursing room on throughout the Pre-Conference Institute and Conference. You can receive the key at the registration table.

Workshop Selections

All sessions are filled on a first-come basis. Some sessions may reach capacity. If you see a sign on the door indicating the session is full, please select another session.

Youth & Young Adults

Proof Alliance will not be hosting a youth and young adult room this year. Please refer to the Mystic Lake policies regarding people under the age of 18. Minors, persons under the age of eighteen (18), are not permitted to participate in the gaming opportunities offered by Mystic Lake Casino Hotel and Little Six Casino. To reserve a hotel room the guest must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older. Parent(s) or legal guardian(s) shall accompany minors at all times, including attendance at banquets and concerts. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), we ask that you do not attempt to participate in any gaming activity, loiter in gaming areas, or enter into contracts that you are not legally permitted to enter, and that you do not provide any personal information to us.
