If you're looking for the Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (MOFAS) you have come to the right place. We have some exciting news about our organization. We have a new name! MOFAS has officially been renamed Proof Alliance. Our mission remains the same: to prevent prenatal alcohol exposure and to improve the quality of life for people living with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD).

Why PR%F

We now have the proof that prenatal alcohol exposure is a leading cause of brain injury in children. We have the proof that FASD is 100% preventable and people living with an FASD can reach 100% of their potential.

Why Alliance?

We seek to build powerful alliances with people with an FASD, their families, legislators, experts in the field, new partners, and community members to bring awareness, research, and services to this field.

What's Next?

Proof Alliance is rebranding, expanding, and we're moving! We have a new logo, website, and prevention campaign to help change the norms around drinking during pregnancy. And in May 2019 we will be moving to a stand-alone building. Proof Alliance commits to the people of Minnesota and we will continue to develop transformative programs to help Minnesotans impacted by FASD.

Operation Valley Challenge

To benefit the St. Croix Valley Lumberjacks Special Olympics Team

Operation Valley Challenge is a race where teams solve 10 clues. While discovering the city of Oak Park Heights and racing for prizes.

Teams consist of 2-5 participants

Round up your friends, get your thinking caps on and prepare for a team event you won’t soon forget. The more the merrier!


  • Opens at 9:15
  • Check in, sign waiver, get your goodies and t-shirt
  • Welcome at 10:00 sharp
  • Race starts immediately following
  • Find a clue holder and go

First clue will be handed out right after opening welcome. Be ready to grab your clue and go. After that each additional clue will be given when you find and complete a challenge

Smart phones / GPS
We cannot stop you from using your smart phone but it would be more fun to use your personal smarts to solve the clues

What’s included in your entrance fee:

  • t-shirt that you must wear during the race
  • 2 waters, and a protein snack for each participant
  • Also a race completion certificate

How does your team get around?

  • Driving, biking and walking is allowed.
  •  There will be 2 divisions of winners for drivers and walkers/ bikers

What to bring

As a team, it’s smart to have the following

  • Bag to hold your goodies and clues to turn in at the end of the race
  • Pen(s) to solve the clues and map out your route.

Waiver must be signed to participate. Waiver can be printed and brought to the race or signed at registration. Go to Waiver page to read and print waiver.

How much of the profit stays local?

100% of the profits go to the St. Croix Valley Lumberjack Special Olympics team.
