Movement for Emotional Regulation

Please join us for a special event to teach youth how to use movement and mindfulness for self-regulation. Participants will have the opportunity to meet peers and actively practice self-regulation movement to incorporate into daily life.

This session is led by Kathy Flaminio, MSW, LGSW, E-RYT 200, founder of Move Mindfully (TM). Kathy works with local schools, crisis teams and agencies to teach mindfulness and incorporate movement into social-emotional learning to increase self-regulation. Her background as a school social worker helped support her vision to teach youth and families how to use regulating movement throughout the day.
