2026 Public Policy Priorities: Strengthening Support for the FASD Community

Proof Alliance is committed to advancing policies that strengthen awareness, support services and long-term outcomes for individuals and families impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). Our 2026 public policy priorities focus on building informed, bipartisan relationships with decision-makers and expanding understanding of FASD across systems through high-quality, evidence-informed education and training.

We also work to protect and sustain critical state funding that makes FASD programs possible across Minnesota. These investments support essential services such as screening and diagnosis, family support, community grants, training and prevention efforts. Through responsible stewardship and transparent oversight, we help ensure these resources continue to serve the communities that rely on them.

Together, these priorities help create a stronger, more responsive system of support for people living with FASD and those who care for them.
