Proof Alliance Family Camp

Thank You for Joining Us at Family Camp 2026!

Thank you to the families, volunteers, staff, and supporters who helped make Proof Alliance Family Camp 2026 such a meaningful weekend.

From June 26–28 at Camp Confidence, families impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) came together to connect, build community, make memories and enjoy a weekend designed with their unique strengths and needs in mind.

We are grateful for everyone who participated and helped create a welcoming, supportive environment for all.

Lottery & Payment FAQs

Everything you need to know about how families are selected and how payment works.

Why are you using a lottery system?

Because interest in the retreat exceeds available spots, we are using a lottery to ensure a fair and equitable process where all interested families have an equal chance to participate.

How does the lottery work?

Submitting the registration form enters your family into the 2026 Family Camp lottery. Families who have never attended Family Camp before are given priority.

We also carefully consider family size and cabin availability to help ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

The lottery closes on April 17, 2026. Selected families will be notified by April 30, 2026.

Is there a cost to enter the lottery?

There is no cost to enter the lottery. If your family is selected to attend, the cost is $25 per person, which will be due upon acceptance.

What happens after I’m selected?

You’ll receive registration details and a deadline to confirm your spot. A deposit or full payment will be required to secure your participation.

Are payments refundable?

Once families are selected and registered, refunds are available as follows: cancellations made before Friday, May 29th will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after that date are non-refundable. All details will be clearly shared prior to confirming your spot.

Can I apply more than once to increase my chances?

To keep the process fair, each family may submit one application.

Camp Experience FAQs

Designed with families impacted by FASD in mind—supportive, welcoming, and flexible.

Who is the Proof Alliance Family Camp best suited for?

This experience is designed for families impacted by FASD—whether confirmed or possible. Whether you’re newly navigating questions or have years of experience, this is a welcoming, understanding and supportive space built to meet you where you are.

Will my family have our own cabin?

Families will have their own sleeping room(s), while sharing a larger cabin space with a small number of other families. This setup helps balance privacy with opportunities to connect. Beds are bunk-style.

Are meals provided?

Yes—meals will be provided through catered service. We also recommend bringing snacks for in-between times or any specific preferences your family may have.

What activities are available during camp, and is there free time or structured programming?

At the Proof Alliance Annual Family Camp, we offer a variety of optional, structured activities that families can choose to participate in, along with a dedicated support group for caregivers. You’re welcome to engage in as much or as little as feels right for your family.

In addition to optional structured activities, there is also plenty of unstructured time for families to rest, explore and connect in ways that feel natural to them.

At camp, you can enjoy:

  • Swimming at the beach and boat rides
  • Bonfires, s’mores, and yard games
  • Hiking trails and an animal sanctuary
  • And plenty more!
Is supervision for youth provided?

This is a family-centered retreat, so caregivers are responsible for supervising their children throughout the experience. Our goal is to support families in spending meaningful time together, and the Proof Alliance team will be on-site to provide FASD-informed support to help ensure a smooth and positive experience for all.

What if my family has specific needs or concerns?

We want this experience to feel supportive and accessible. Please reach out in advance to share any needs, and we’ll do our best to accommodate or work with you on a plan.

Can we arrive late or leave early?

We understand that schedules can be complex. While we encourage families to participate in the full experience, please let us know ahead of time if you anticipate any changes so we can plan accordingly.

What should we pack?

We’ll provide a detailed packing list ahead of time.
