The Annual Proof Alliance Community BBQ

Join us on Saturday, August 15, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. CST at Proof Alliance in St. Paul for an afternoon of food, fun and connection at the Annual Proof Alliance Community BBQ!

This event welcomes individuals, families and caregivers impacted by FASD to come together, build community, enjoy summer activities and connect with others who share similar experiences. All ages are welcome.

What activities will be available?

There will be a variety of drop-in games and activities for all ages, including:

  • Bouncy house obstacle course
  • Giant bubbles
  • Temporary tattoos
  • Bags / Cornhole
  • Tic Tac Toe
  • Giant Connect 4
  • Giant Jenga

Games and activities will be open from 12:00–2:00 p.m.

Who is this event for?

This event is for individuals, families, and caregivers impacted by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). All ages are welcome.

Will food be served?

Yes! Food will be served from 12:00–1:30 p.m., including burgers, hot dogs and other BBQ favorites. Please RSVP so we can plan for an accurate headcount.

Who is responsible for supervision during activities?

This is a family-friendly community event. Children must be supervised by their caregiver at all times. Some activities (like the bounce house and obstacle course) may have volunteer attendants, but they are not a substitute for caregiver supervision.

Can I bring my pet?

Please note that pets are not permitted at this event.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor activities and summer weather.

Will there be photographs taken?

Yes, photos may be taken during the event to help share and highlight community activities. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let event staff know upon arrival.
