Defiance Decoded: What It Really Means and How to Respond
Part of Proof Alliance’s EmpowerEd series, this session helps participants recognize that challenging behaviors in individuals with FASD often stem from brain-based differences rather than defiance. Attendees will learn to reframe behaviors as signals of unmet needs, dysregulation or skill gaps, fostering empathy and reducing power struggles, while exploring practical strategies to promote cooperation in daily interactions.
- Thursday, November 6th
- 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. CST
- Virtually on Zoom
