FASD Awareness Starts Here
September is National Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Awareness Month.

Why September?
FASD Awareness Month takes place in the 9th month of the year, and FASD Awareness Day is on the 9th day—a powerful reminder of the 9 months of pregnancy when it’s safest to avoid alcohol.
This season of awareness honors the stories of individuals and families impacted by FASD, centers the voices of living experience, and calls for greater support, education and visibility.
